1. Operating Authority & Commonwealth of Massachusetts Licensing
SN Limo Service ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") operates as a commercially licensed, fully insured private livery transportation company under the statutory authority of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts General Laws (M.G.L. c. 159A½) and the regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities (DPU).
- Commercial Insurance: All vehicles carry active commercial automobile liability insurance exceeding $1,000,000.00 combined single limit (CSL).
- Chauffeur Certification: All professional chauffeurs undergo state and federal Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) background screenings, commercial driver qualification checks, and Department of Transportation (DOT) physical assessments.
- Massport Operating Authority: SN Limo Service maintains active, compliant commercial operating authority with the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) for legal terminal pickups and drop-offs at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).
2. Payment Processing, Card Authorizations & PCI-DSS Compliance
In strict compliance with Federal Trade Commission (FTC) standards and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS v4.0), SN Limo Service enforces rigorous safeguards around all financial transactions:
- Level 1 PCI-DSS Gateways: All electronic credit card payments, digital authorizations, and online bookings are securely handled through PCI-DSS Level 1 certified third-party payment infrastructure (Limo Anywhere and integrated merchant banking gateways).
- Zero Cardholder Data Storage: SN Limo Service web servers do not collect, process, or retain raw credit card Primary Account Numbers (PAN), CVV/CVC verification codes, or magnetic stripe/chip data. All transmission is encrypted end-to-end via 256-bit TLS 1.3 encryption.
- Credit Card Pre-Authorization: To ensure vehicle availability and secure dispatch, a temporary credit card pre-authorization hold (the estimated fare plus a standard contingency buffer) is placed on the customer's card 24 to 48 hours prior to scheduled service. This is an authorization hold, not an immediate charge.
- Final Billing & Settlement: Final payment settlement occurs automatically within 24 to 48 hours following trip completion. The final billed amount reflects the confirmed base fare plus any incurred state highway tolls, airport authority fees, verifiable excess wait time, or client-requested route modifications.
- Massachusetts Consumer Protection Compliance (M.G.L. c. 140D & c. 93A): We do not impose unlawful consumer credit card surcharges. All transaction totals and itemized line items are clearly detailed on your electronic receipt.
3. Transparent Rate Structure, Surcharges & Toll Disclosures
Under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 93A (Regulation of Business Practices for Consumers' Protection), all passenger fees must be clearly, conspicuously disclosed prior to contract execution:
- State Highway & Tunnel Tolls: MassDOT harbor tunnels (Sumner Tunnel, Ted Williams Tunnel, Callahan Tunnel), the Tobin Memorial Bridge, and Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) tolls are billed at actual E-ZPass transponder cost for the specific route traveled.
- Massport Airport Fees: Regulated ground transportation access fees assessed by Massport for pickups at Boston Logan International Airport are billed at actual cost.
- Complimentary Waiting Time:
- Residential & Commercial Pickups: 15 minutes of complimentary grace time from the scheduled pickup time.
- Domestic Airline Flights: 45 minutes of complimentary grace time from the aircraft's official gate arrival (touchdown tracked via automated FAA radar).
- International Airline Flights: 60 minutes of complimentary grace time from gate arrival to accommodate U.S. Customs and Border Protection clearance.
- Excess Waiting Time: Billed in 15-minute increments at the vehicle's published hourly charter rate once the grace window expires.
- Intermediate Stops: Additional stops en route requested by the passenger that were not part of the initial itinerary are billed at $25.00 to $50.00 per stop depending on vehicle class.
- Gratuity & Service Charges: Chauffeur gratuity is customary and recognized for exemplary professional service. Unless an all-inclusive corporate contract is selected, discretionary gratuity (industry standard 20%) is calculated on the base fare.
4. Cancellation, Flight Delay & Refund Policy
Under federal consumer protection guidelines and commercial charter standards, the following cancellation policy applies to all reservations:
- Executive Sedans & SUVs: Free cancellation with full refund when notice is received at least 2 hours prior to scheduled pickup time for Greater Boston transfers, or 4 hours prior for regional New England trips. Cancellations submitted inside this window are billed the base trip fare.
- Specialty Fleet (Limousines, Sprinters & Mini Coaches): Due to custom scheduling and vehicle staging, cancellations must be provided at least 48 hours prior to pickup time. Cancellations inside 48 hours forfeit the booking deposit or full charter fee.
- Flight Delays & Early Arrivals: We automatically track commercial flights into Boston Logan Airport (BOS), Manchester-Boston Regional (MHT), and T.F. Green (PVD). If your flight is delayed or rescheduled by the airline, dispatch automatically adjusts your chauffeur's arrival time at zero penalty to you.
- Passenger No-Show: If a passenger fails to make contact with dispatch or board the vehicle within 30 minutes following the expiration of the complimentary grace period, the ride is recorded as a "No-Show" and billed at 100% of the trip quote plus any accrued wait time.
5. Vehicle Cleanliness, Alcohol & Passenger Conduct
- Tobacco & Vaping Prohibition: In accordance with Massachusetts Smoke-Free Workplace regulations, all smoking, vaping, electronic cigarettes, and cannabis consumption are strictly prohibited inside all vehicles. Violations result in an immediate $350.00 deep-cleaning sanitation fee.
- Alcohol Consumption (M.G.L. c. 138): Alcohol consumption is legally permissible solely in partitioned luxury limousines and charter buses for passengers aged 21 and older with valid government identification. Underage drinking or alcohol in unpartitioned sedans/SUVs is strictly prohibited.
- Vehicle Damage & Excessive Soiling: Passengers are financially responsible for any negligent damage to interior components, upholstery tears, or bio-cleaning remediation (minimum $300.00 fee).
6. Corporate Accounts & Commercial Invoicing
Approved corporate clients utilizing our billing portal (invoices.snlimoservice.us) receive consolidated electronic billing summaries under agreed Net 15 or Net 30 payment terms. Delinquent accounts past 30 days are subject to interest charges permitted under Massachusetts law (1.5% per month or the statutory maximum).
7. Limitation of Liability & Force Majeure
SN Limo Service maintains rigorous fleet maintenance and dispatch standards. However, the Company shall not be held liable for missed flights, delayed meetings, or indirect consequential damages resulting from unforeseen acts of God, severe Massachusetts winter blizzards (Nor'easters), extreme highway road closures ordered by state police, or catastrophic bridge/tunnel traffic obstructions beyond our reasonable control.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms and all transportation contracts are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts situated in Plymouth County or Suffolk County, Massachusetts.
